💡 What is a drive gear and when should I replace it?
A drive gear transfers power from the motor to the lift mechanism and can wear out over time. If the opener runs but the door doesn't lift, you may need to replace it. - Symptoms include the opener running but the door not lifting - Replacing restores proper drive engagement and prevents further gear damage - Lubrication grease is required during installation (not included) - Confirm bore 1/2 in, OD 2 3/4 in, and 32 teeth match your unit ✝️
