✅ Extended wet time stops tip overs and brush marks when working slow zones
✅ Fine metallic powder stays suspended until hitting the clear coat stage nicely
💡 What factors actually determine how well a candy basecoat bonds to primed metal?
Keep your spray gun running steady and match your technique to shop conditions.
- Thin initial passes lay down even coverage without hiding existing flaws too fast
- Overlap paths keep the thickness uniform so color shifts never show up flat spots
- Waiting for flash gaps lets solvents escape before locking in the final gloss bond
- Wiping down once cured removes dust nibs before slapping on shiny protectors
