Set of 8 Skateboard Bearing with Bronze Cage

I have two early American glide chairs well crafted and in very good condition. I've replaced the bearing sets once before when they became worn. Now I needed to replace the glider bearing sets once again and could not find the correct size. However an online search suggested one could build their bearing sets and VBX Bearing was one suggested source listed in the query results. After a brief search I found the correct size and these bearings were available sealed also. I found that the set of eight sealed bearings were very affordable and purchased two sets. With little effort I my glide chairs were again performing smoothly. These VBX sealed bearing should last for a long time.

I use these bearings to build weather vanes.

The seals are easy to remove and seal well the bronze cage makes the bearing easy to clean dirt does not get trapped in like a nylon cage bearing would. Will buy more. This is everything i love about the old gmn bearing with the addition of removable seals.

Skateboard bearing size was best for a project in progress. Smoothness of rotation sealed long life was in criteria.
