Little more lubrication may help.

I had ordered these 6306-2RS Bearing (30x72x19 Sealed Ball Bearing) and 6307-2RS Bearing (35x80x21 Sealed Ball Bearing) from VXB.com through [@] for my Kenmore front loader washer model # 41744042400. I had to replace these bearings along with the inner basket ([@] part # 131618500) and Metric Oil Shaft Seal 40 x 80 x 10 40x80x10 Double Lip. Now since I was working on my washing machine by myself I had time and wanted to make sure that I should get years of trouble free service from my washing machine and that I don't have to do it all over again any time soon. Since bearings rotate at high speed so to reduce friction for their longer life a good greased lubrication is a must. I pry opened the Seals of these bearings from the inner circle with 2-3 mm flat screw driver. There were about 4-5 drops of grease on only one side inside each of these bearings which is expected to lubricate the bearing when it spins. I washed the bearings with hot running water wiped and dried them. Then I picked up "Super Tech Marine Grease" from [@]. As per the manufacturer of the Super Tech Marine Grease "Super Tech Marine Grease is a state-of-the-art lithium complex grease. This tacky grease resists water washout even under the most severe saltwater conditions. It offers superior protection against rust corrosion and oxidation."I filled up these bearings with Marine Grease and for those who are replacing bearings on their washing machine I would recommend them to fill same grease in the empty space in between the bearing and the outer lip seal as this way water or moisture can not make their way towards bearings. For those who are replacing the inner rotating drums of their front loader washer because of broken spider. I would recommend them to remove the spider from new drum wash it with soapy water remove any oils then spray paint it with Rust-Oleum primer and paint. The hole for screw that holds the spider the spider and the screw all are tapered so there are no chances of misalignment when putting these back together.I had installed these bearings in 11 2011 and do about 4-5 loads of laundry a week. I am going to update if as and when these bearings fail. But with this proper lubrication I expect them to last for kind of forever :-)

The Right Bearing at The Right Price

I needed a bearing to replace a 100 year old XXXXX thrust controlling roller bearing which was very obsolete. Your web site gave all the dimensions and a good description of the product. It is nice to deal with a company that understands the value of a customer.
